Teaching philosophy
If you are planning to take a course with me, the following is my teaching philosophy and what I expect to see progress towards.
My passion for teaching is driven by my desire to disseminate knowledge and, educate and mentor students to make a positive impact on society. My teaching philosophy is formed by my teaching experience and work in a diverse and cross-disciplinary industry sector. My teaching goal is to instill fundamentals of engineering science in students and equip them with tools by which they can decipher the underlying processes of various phenomena. To this end, my teaching objectives are to foster deep knowledge of fundamentals along with analytic and creative thinking abilities. This is best shown on the painting by Rene Magritte in his 1936 work called La Clairvoyance.
